Information We Collect
Automatically Collected: When you visit Tesla News Plus, our servers automatically log standard technical information including your IP address (anonymized), browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on each page, and date/time of access. This data is used exclusively for analytics and site performance optimization.
Voluntarily Provided: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you contact us, we collect the information you provide in your message (name, email, message content). We do not collect payment information, as we do not currently offer paid subscriptions.
We Do Not Collect: Social security numbers, financial account information, precise geolocation data, biometric data, or any information from children under 13 years of age.
How We Use Your Data
We use collected information to: deliver and improve our content, analyze readership patterns to better serve our audience, send newsletters to subscribers who have opted in, respond to inquiries and support requests, detect and prevent abuse or spam, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not create individual user profiles for marketing purposes.

Essential Cookies: We use essential cookies that are necessary for the website to function properly, including session management and security tokens. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site. GA4 uses first-party cookies and collects anonymized data including page views, session duration, and traffic sources. IP anonymization is enabled by default. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
No Third-Party Tracking: We do not use third-party advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any other cross-site tracking technologies.

Data Security & Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all connections, secure server infrastructure hosted on reputable cloud providers, and regular security audits. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized team members who need it to perform their duties.
We retain analytics data for 14 months and email subscriber data until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months and then deleted. We do not maintain permanent archives of personal data beyond these retention periods.
