The Tesla Semi represents the future of long-haul trucking. With 500 miles of range at maximum gross weight (82,000 lbs), it can handle the vast majority of freight routes without recharging. Fully loaded at 82,000 lbs gross weight, the Tesla Semi accelerates from 0-60 mph in 20 seconds – dramatically quicker than the 60+ seconds typical of diesel semis. This performance isn't just impressive; it improves safety by enabling confident merging and passing maneuvers.

The Semi can maintain highway speeds even on steep grades where diesel trucks must slow to a crawl. Four independent motors provide all-wheel drive and precise torque control, improving traction in all weather conditions. The low center of gravity from floor-mounted battery packs makes the Semi more stable and reduces jackknife risk.

The Semi's cab is designed around the driver, with a centered seating position that provides excellent visibility.
